With the beginning of Mission Begin Again’, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation gave some relief to the citizens by relaxation of the lockdown. However, people are fearlessly violating the guidelines given by the state government. As a result, the number of Covid-19 patients in Nagpur is increasing rapidly from the last few days.
The virus is still between us and even then the market is getting crowded while no social distancing is being followed. The situation of re-lockdown is being created due to this behaviour of the citizens.
Considering the current scenario and in order to prevent the spread of corona in the markets, Mayor Sandeep Joshi will start a public awareness tour from today under which he will inspect various public places in the city to check whether the guidelines of Covid-19 are followed or not. During the visit Mayor will be accompanied by the Zone head.
On July 15, Mayor will visit Mahal, Gandhibagh Bazaar between 4 to 7 pm.
July 16: Kamal Chowk, Rani Durgavati, Pivli Nadi, Jaripatka, Borgaon and Mankapur area between 3 pm to 7 pm.
July 17: Gokulpeth, Sadar, Sitabardi, Gittikhadan Bazaar on July 17 from 4 pm to 7 pm.
July 18: Itwari, Dahibazar, Pardi, Deputy Signal, Telephone Exchange rom 4 pm to 7 pm
July 19: Jagannade Chowk and Mhalginagar premises from 4 pm to 7 pm.
July 20: Khamla, Dhantoli, Gopalnagar.
July 21: Sakkardara, Manewada, Medical, Cotton Market and Rameshwari Bazaar
The civic authorities have issued some rules regarding for the shops. As per the instructions, the shops in the market area are scheduled to open on one day on one side and on the other day on the other side. Shopping hours are 9 am to 7 pm.
It is the responsibility of the shop owners to ensure that the customers who come to the shop follow social rules and use masks.
