The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday on Wednesday declared the results of its Class X board examination with Thiruvananthapuram securing the top position, followed by Chennai and Bengaluru at number 2 and 3 respectively while Delhi figured at a distant 14th position. In the result declared by the CBSE, 91.46% students passed the board examination, 0.36% higher than the previous year.
Thiruvananthapuram’s pass percentage was (99.28%), followed by Chennai 98.95%, Bengaluru (98.23%) Pune (98.05%) and Ajmer (96.93%). Guwahati region recorded the lowest passing percentage at 79.12.
This year around 18 lakh students had taken the class 10th exam. CBSE has already declared the class 12th results on July 13. A total of 88.78% students have passed the class 12th exam.Thiruvananthapuram had also secured the top spot in the class 12th board examination results which were declared by the CBSE on Monday.
