The Principal Commissioner Income Tax at Income Tax office civil line was tested positive with the OCVID-19 on July 14. Soon after this, 26 people who came in contact with the Pr. CIT was advised to be under quarantine.
Soon after that the IT office situated at Saraf Chambers, Sadar has been sealed till July 19. The premises have been sanitized and samples of officials were taken for testing. According to the report, no official has been tested positive with COVID-19 yet.
According to the report, Pr.CIT was undergoing treatment in Mumbai and was due for surgery soon but before her surgery, she attended a meeting with officials at the office after which she was tested positive of COVID-19. After which 26 officials who were in close contact with her and attended the meeting were advised to remain in isolation for 14 days.
