The outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown has taken a heavy toll on us. During this crisis, the economy of the nation is in a fluctuating mode and the number of job seekers has gone up in the last few months. Employees are losing jobs every day and the rate of unemployment in the country is rising.
This is another biggest concern of India along with the Coronavirus. The lockdown had forced businesses to shut down, people losing jobs forcing billions to live at home and wait whilst the pandemic is over.
Even after giving relaxation under the ‘Mission Begin Again’ phase which gave an opportunity to reopen business it has not caused much of a difference as still many businesses are suffering due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The worst affected were the daily wage workers and laborers who were left with no option rather go back to their native place to seek help and shelter during the lockdown period.
