A mobile integrated screening and sample collecting ‘Covid Van’ has been launched in Nagpur by Prabhatai Ojha Smriti Seva Sanstha as part of the corona preventive measures. The ‘Covid Van’ was inaugurated today by the hands of Guardian Minister Dr. Nitin Raut and Assembly Speaker Nana Patole.
The COVID-19 van by Ojha Trusts is a well-equipped van with all the facilities available for the people of Nagpur. The van will be useful for locating and testing public who continuously have colds, coughs, and fever. The suspected person can get his/her samples tested for coronavirus infection from their homes and need not venture to the hospitals.
While giving information about Covid Van, Dr. Sameer Arbat the mind behind the van, said that a Positive pressure box has been installed in the integrated screening and sample collecting van. The positive pressure box allows inside air to come out but not the other way round. This van is fitted with air conditioning system with hepafilter. Such a system is used during surgeries.
The inauguration programme was conducted at the premises of Divisional Commissioner’s Office. On the occasion Divisional Commissioner Sanjeev Kumar, Prabhatai Ojha Smriti Seva Sanstha President Ramkishan Ojha along with Project Head Pankaj Shah and Secretary Dr. Manohar Mudyeshwar were also present.
