The anti-encroachment department of civic administration demolished 41 illegal sheds and 20 Â encroachments in Laxmi Nagar and Asi Nagar zones on Monday.Similarly,it did not allowed hawkers to set up shops on Sitabuldi Main Road coming under Dharampeth Zone.
In Laxmi Nagar Zone,vendors sitting on footpath and roadside were removed in Khamla vegetable market coming under Laxmi Nagar Zone.The anti-encroachment squad later razed 20 encroachments on footpath from Mangalmurti Square to Jaitala Square.Another team removed sheds of Maitri Furniture,Tyre Shop,Anusaya Kannake,Maya Ganar,Taj Chicken Centre,Rishi Chicken Centre,Open Garden Restaurant and other in Asi Nagar Zone.
