After 13 Railway Protection Force (RPF) jawans tested COVID-19 positive, the RPF commandant has taken extra precaution to ensure the safety of the other jawans.As per information, till now 13 jawans have tested positive out of which 8 have recovered and five are undergoing treatment.
Other jawans who came in contact with positive patients are being traced and their medical examination is being done and reports monitored on daily basis. As per RPF official source, other people who came in contact with the jawans who were positive are being investigated. If suspected, they are being home quarantined for 14 days.
