Nagpur will witness a two day Janta Curfew on July 25 and 26 as cases of Noval Coronavirus are increasing every day. The Janta Curfew will come into force from July 25 Morning till July 26 Night.
Persons involved in essential services will be allowed to step out from there homes while others have to strictly follow the curfew norms and remain inside. All essential services will remain open while all the non essential services will remain closed. “Only medical shops, healthcare centers, and milk outlets will remain open. All non-essential markets will remain shut,†Mundhe said.
“We have decided to implement two-day Janta curfew to bring public awareness about behavioral change towards Covid-19 rules. But if these rules are not followed, then a strict curfew could be imposed in the city,” Mundhe warned.
“We are appealing to citizens to participate and support the janta curfew and change their behavior and help break the coronavirus transmission chain, said Mundhe.
“Citizens should remain indoors and change their behavior to comply with Covid-19 guidelines to help break the transmission chain,†he said.
NMC has been requesting citizens to follow rules and take precautions to avoid lockdown in the city as the cases are rising every day. The administration will be patrolling the streets urging people to follow the rules and bring a behavioral change in lifestyle and adopt according to the new change. On July 31, a review meeting will be held and the decision will be made accordingly.
