The new 900mm feeder line laid by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) near Uppalwadi Railway Bridge developed leakage on Thursday morning. After this leakage water supply was ceased in several localities of North Nagpur.However, civic administration and OCW started the repairing work. Due to the work is going on, in North Nagpur, there will be no water supply in today also.
As per the information, there would be no water supply in the localities falling under Asi Nagar and Satranjipura zones on today. Due to the heavy rainfall, the area has turned waterlogged. The repairing work will start after draining out of water. There will be no water supply in Binaki 1,Binaki 2,Binaki existing,Bezonbagh,Indora 1and 2,the portion of Pili River of Uppalwadi,Gangdur feeder line area of Asi nagar zone and Basterwadi1,2,3,Shanti Nagar,GH vehicle parking area and Vanjari water tank area of Satranjipura zone.OCW also clarified that water supply was not possible by tankers also.
