After a much wait, the Maharashtra SSC Result 2020 was released on July 29, 2020.
The overall pass percentage of Maharashtra is 95.30% in which Girls have topped with an overall pass percentage of 96.91% while boys registered an overall pass percentage of 93.99%. Konkan region registered the highest pass percentage of 98.77% while Aurangabad with 92.00% recorded the lowest pass percentage this year.
This year Nagpur district recorded 93.84% pass percentage which is the highest in the last 5 years. While in 2019 Orange City had the lowest pass percentage as compared to other cities in the states with 67.27%.
A total of 15,84,264 students were registered from the state out of which 15,01,105 passed the exam.
The result is announced online on the official website mahresult.nic.in as well as on sscresult.mkcl.org maharashtraeducation.com and will be available for students at 1 pm. There is no confirmation about the press conference as yet.
Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, MSBSHSE had conducted the SSC Examinations from March 3 to March 23. One examination of Geography could not be conducted due to coronavirus lockdown. The paper was later cancelled. Board then decided to award average marks for the cancelled paper.
