The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has today released the result of the Civil Services Exam (CSE) 2019 at upsc.gov.in.
From Nagpur Six candidates passed the exam Prasad Shinde secured rank 287, Ashit Kamble bagged rank 651, Pradnya Khandare secured 719 rank, Nikhil Dubey secured rank 733, Sumit Ramteke secured rank 748, Swaroop Dixit secured rank 827.
Based on the result of the written part of the Civil Services Examination, 2019 held in September and the interviews for personality tests held in February-August, a total of 829 candidates have passed the exam.
This year around 114 students had registered for the exam from Nagpur out of which 17 cleared the test and 6 cleared final Civil Services Exam (CSE).
Most of the qualified candidates (304) are from the general category. The candidates have been recommended for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS), among other civil services.

Swaroop Dixit who passed the UPSC 2019 exam had to go through many challenges from being infected with COVID-19 to pass the exam. Swaroop said that “In the year 2013 I, passed engineering from IT branch and soon after I began my preparation for UPSC. In the year 2017, I was selected in Indian Forest Services, and while training I began my studies for Civil Services Exam. Few days after my interview and before medical examination I was tested positive with Corona but this did not stop me from achieving my dreamsâ€.
Swaroop said that “Due to my service I use to give only 3-4hr. message do not think about any failure and be persistent in your work. Hard work and persistence are the mantra of lifeâ€.
