Rash driving and violation of traffic norms have become a common phenomenon in city and naturally increased the rate of road accidents in the city. Considering the careless behaviour by the citizens the traffic department of Nagpur have decided to reduce the speed limit of vehicles.
The department have issued fresh guidelines regarding the speed limit for every vehicle inside the city and on outer ring roads. With the implementation of new guidelines dated 06/08.2020, the previous guidelines issued on March 2017 will be cancelled. These speed limits will be applicable for one month.
Here are the revised speed limits of vehicles:
