It seems that the hawkers in the city are least scared of the anti-encroachment squad of civic authority .In real sense they are maintaining the norms of social distancing. When the squad moves forward, the hawkers also move their shops.
Due to the COVID-19 fear the encroachments are being removed on daily basis. As squad members of NMC are not even getting their weekly offs as the hawkers are just refusing to budge. As per the information, a computer operator working in the Enforcement Department (Demolition Squad) office located at NMC headquarters is reported to be infected. The employees of the squad have to deal with the crowd when they go to different areas every day. And they are really scared of this situation.
