A drive to raze illegal encroachments in city the anti-encroachment squad of the civic administration removed the encroachments from Mangalmurti Hall to Khamla Bazar under Laxmi Nagar zone. During the drive, the team razed the sheds constructed in front of shops. It also demolished two kiosks.
As many as 23 encroachments were removed from this road. The second team removed 37 encroachments from Sitabuldi main road to Loha Pul, Shani Temple to Anand Talkies Square, Munje Square to Jhansi Rani Square, Maharajbagh Square to District Collector’s office and till VCA Square under Dharampeth zone. The third team removed temporary sheds in front of Mayo Hospital, temporary sheds of fish market on Bhoipura Road under Gandhibagh zone.
