Demanding permission to re-open the Gymnasiums, gym owners in the city would stage a demonstration on today. Gymnasiums are closed all over Maharashtra after the outbreak of COVID-19.As per information; mayor Sandeep Joshi too will be take part in agitation.
Mayor Joshi said that all the BJP MLAs and MLCs from Nagpur will also participate in the agitation which will take place at various places in the city. Permission has been given to gyms to reopen across the nation by the Central government, but the state is yet to grant permission to them. Gym owners said that liquor shops have been allowed to open two months ago, while shopping malls too were allowed to re-start, but gyms are not allowed to operate. The body builders association too has extended its support to the agitation.
