A preventive measure to contain the spread of COVID-19, earlier, the civic authority of the city has used tin sheet barricade to seal the areas where coronavirus patients were found. Now it has become a difficulty as number of patients has increased manifold.However, the tin sheet barricading of house of the positive person is being still done and lakhs of rupees are being spent on this work.
As per information, after positive patients found the zone officers and contractor done tin sheet barricading in front of the house of the concerned person or apartment area. The road of the concerned house is not closed by tin sheet barricading. The family members of the positive patients are opposed to tin sheet barricading. Around Rs.15000 to Rs.20000 are spent on tin sheet barricading of one house. Every day, the number of COVID-19 patients is increasing in city. And considering this, it has been learnt that more than Rs.30 lakhs have been spent on tin sheet barricading.
