After the outbreak of COVID-19, the government has issued different precautionary measures to contain the measures and it made mandatory to wear the mask. And the civic administration has commenced taking action in this regard. As per information, fines were imposed on 226 people for not wearing mask. And the nuisance squad of NMC recovered fine of Rs.45200 in the drive conducted in 10 zones.
The NDS squad recovered Rs.9600 as fine from 48 people in Satranjipura zone. In Dharampeth zone, it recovered Rs 8200 from 41 people. In Asi Nagar zone it recovered Rs.7000 from 35 people. In Dhantoli zone it recovered Rs.4600 from 23 people.Likewise; it recovered Rs.4000 each from Gandhibagh and Lakadganj zone from 20 people each. In Laxmi Nagar zone, the NDS team recovered Rs.3400 from 17 people. In Nehru Nagar zone, it recovered Rs.1000 from five people and in Mangalwari zone; it recovered Rs 400 from two people in NMC headquarters. The civic administration has clarified that it would impose Rs.200 fine on per people for not wearing mask.
