Home isolation is an option for asymptomatic patients who have been tested positive with the deadly COVID-19 but have no symptoms. Patients in home isolation should follow the guidelines given by the government suggested Former Indian Medical Association president, Dr. Anand Kate.
Mayor Sandip Joshi began an awareness and guidance campaign with Nagpur Municipal Corporation and Indian Medical Association for the asymptomatic patients who are being advised to be under home isolation.
Dr Anand Kate from Amey Hospital along with Dr Archana Kothari from Kothari Hospital was present in the Facebook Live session where they gave suggestions and answered the doubts od the people related to the virus and treatments involved.
Dr. Anand Kate informed that those who have a separate room, bathroom, toilet in the house should opt for home isolation, he said, adding that during home isolation, government guidelines should be followed, regular masks should be worn, family members should be kept away and medicines prescribed by doctors should be taken without fail.
