The Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court on Thursday directed the civic administration to demolish the illegal construction work of the Sai temple on Wardha Road.NMC has been given three days to take action.Earlier,on September 4,NMC had removed the illegal shops in front of the temple.
The illegal construction work of the temple was left due to the lack of police protection, the counsel for civic authority informed to the court, following which the court had given the above order. The petition was filed by Sri Saibaba Seva Mandal to remove the illegal shops. The petition was disposed of after the purpose was fulfilled.Illegal shopkeepers approached the Supreme Court after the HC to seek protection. But no relief was provided.Because they could not prove legal authority over the shops.
