Union Minister Nitin Gadkari recently conducted talks with Municipal Commissioner Radhakrishnan B and directed him to take steps for improving beds position in city hospitals. He asked Commissioner to personally initiate talks with owners of private hospitals and ensure that maximum beds are made available as situation in city has reached dangerous levels.
Municipal Commissioner said that he is taking personal interest in COVID-19 situation along with office bearers of NMC and in case of any emergency people should contact on NMC HelpLine no. 0712-22567021 for bed requirement. Similarly, Gadkari said people can contact Jayant Dixit, his PA, if they need any urgent medical help on Mobile No. 9921024700. Gadkari also appealed people not to panic and have trust in civic and district administration, medical workers as they are all there to help people during this critical time.
