After finding several irregularities and flouting the norms, the civic administration has issued notice to three private labs in city. As per the information, after finding discrepancies including the difference between total test and online registration, the labs include Dhruv Pathology, Ramdaspeth.Suvishwas Lab, Ramdaspeth and Metro Lab Dhantoli.The lab reporters were asked to give reply in 24 hours.
If the order is not complied with and the response is not satisfactory, action can be taken as per the rules. Assistant commissioner (service) NMC and assistant health officer visited the respective labs on September 9.And they found that there was a difference between total investigation and online registration based on it according to the guidelines of ICMR.There was an irregularity in timings of the COVID-19 tests. And as the order of the NMC chief the lab owners have to give a reply in this matter on today morning. As per the order the lab has to submit the documents of permission, the complete report from the date on which the investigation commenced. The reply should be given with all the necessary documents while conducting RT-PCR test and the account given in the RCMR portal. And if they fail to do so, they have to face a strict action.
