Amid the increasing cases of Covid positive cases in city, Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) from Friday have been allowed to carry 44 passengers on all seats along with 11 in standing. This decision shows the callous attitude of the MSRTC as they are least concerned about the lives of people amid the pandemic.
However, MSRTC has claimed that it will be able to recover its losses by doing so.The point to be noted here is that the private buses have not been allowed operate till date citing passengers’ safety as reason.However, the MSRTC employees are happy due to the decision as it will help the MSRTC to pay their pending salaries.
