Accommodating more passengers than its capacity, the MIDC traffic circle took action against bus of Goodwill travels. As per information, the police have registered a case against accused bus driver Khudabakhs Mahmood Ansari, a resident of Kanzi House Square, Yashodhara Nagar.On Saturday when police were patrolling on Amravati road. They found that a bus with the number UP/73/A/9923 carrying a large number of passengers.
Due to Covid-19 pandemic, private bus allowed carrying half passengers than its capacity but the bus driver allowed a large number of labourers in the bus from Wadi.After checking police found 51 passengers in the bus and most of the passengers had also not been given tickets.Later, the bus was taken to MIDC traffic office. The passengers without tickets were asked to pay the fine after issuing challan while a case had been registered against the driver under section 66)1,192,179,130(1) (2) (3).
