Central Railway conducted a programme ‘Swwachhata Hi Seva – Pakhwada’ in which the officials conducted cleanliness check of all trains that crossed through Nagpur on Monday. All trains were checked under the able guidance of Somesh Kumar, DRM, and Central Railway. The senior officials and employees also checked the Nagpur railway station premises, railway yard and washing area of all railway stations.
The senior officials also took feedback from passengers of all trains and checked the toilets during the event. The complaints were solved instantly by the Railway staff. The officials also spread awareness about cleanliness among passengers. The activities were also performed in Baitul, Amla, Narkhed, Katol, Sevagram, Wardha, Pulgaon, Dhamangaon, Hinganghat, Chandrapur and Ballarpur railway stations.
