The Commissioner of Police while providing instructions to the crime branch officials on Tuesday said that no illegal businesses will run in the city anymore. The city will be free from illegal businesses within the next week. After this, if any illegal business or criminal activities are found, and then it will be difficult for the crime branch along with SHO.During the meeting, he praised the functioning of the crime branch; he said that his efforts have put a check on crime and illegal businesses. But illegal businesses are going on secretly under many police station premises and they too should be closed immediately.
He added that it is the responsibility of the crime branch along with SHO to not let the illegal business run under any circumstances. And everyone is being given a week’s time to eliminate illegal businesses. He also pointed out that strict action should also be taken against the big businessmen who are also involved in illegal activities, like a drug dealer is caught; his movable and immovable property should also be recovered. And it is necessary to make them financially weak. Commissioner added.
