Due to the on-going Covid-19 pandemic, people are suffered a lot due to delay in issuing Ganesh Utsav celebrations guidelines. Now the Navratri festival is approaching near and the festival is celebrated with lot of enthusiasm in city. Many artists, sculptors employment depend on the festival.
However, the state government has not yet clarified its stand on the festival. In this regard, MLA Krishna Khopde has written to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in this regard demanding issuance of guidelines as early as possible. Many organisations organise garba during Navratri celebrations. And organisers are in dilemma as no guidelines have been issued by the state government. If the guidelines for Navratri are issued soon it will be convenient for organisations and temples to prepare well.
