As we know the entire nation is grappling under the pangs of COVID-19 pandemic, and the fear has adversely affected many sectors especially in education sector. The is the prime reason why only half of the examinees reached the examination centres of MHT-CET centres on Thursday. As per information, the cell has made 8 centres for online CET.On the very first day PCB papers were to be held. As many as 3724 students had to attend this.
As per information, there was 40 % attendance of the students in three centres in the first session while in two other centres about 70% students participated in the examination. But in the second session, the number of students declined further. The officials stated that most of the students absent due to Covid infection. Another reason was that all examination centres were far away from the city. However, the centres followed the guidelines issued by the government for Covid infection. The sitting arrangements were made as per the guidelines. Some centres also given mask to students. The point to be noted here is that PCB paper will be held till October 9.After that PCM paper will be held. About 26321 students have applied for PCB in the district.
