As we know the city is grappling under deadly corona virus and the civic authority has made it compulsory to use mask at public places and even the fine for not complying was raised from Rs.200 to Rs.500 but people are still adamant and not wearing mask. As per information the action has been intensified by the NDS since September 15.
The Nuisance Detection Squad (NDS) of Nagpur Municipal Corporation has fined around 10,325 people and collected a fine of 3521500.On Tuesday 220 people were fined and Rs.1.10 lakh was collected fines. On Tuesday,48 people in Laxminagar zone,37 in Dharampeth,17 in Hanumannagar,14 in Dhantoli,8 in Nehru Nagar,19 in Gandhi bagh,14 in Satranjipura,14 in Lakadganj,21 in Aasi Nagar,27 in Mangalwari zone and 1 in NMC headquarters.
