Nagpur district continues to report less fresh cases of COVID-19 as compared to recovered cases. Also, the city continues to report a drop in death counts. On October 18, the city registered 374 new COVID cases while 790 patients became free of the virus. After today’s addition, the cumulative number of cases is 90675. The recovery rate now stands at 89.73
With 22 people succumbing to the infection in the day the death toll has now reached 2947. From the total deaths 2067 are reported from the city and 523 from rural and rest 357 from out of Nagpur, an official release said.
The total number of recovered cases now stands at 81359 (including 43900 home isolation recoveries).
After the fresh updates, a total of 6369 patients are active in the city.
Today’s 374 positive cases were reported from various hospitals.
