As the Nagpur Metro service, began functioning in the city, Maha Metro on Sunday hosts an exhibition of books at its stations across the city. Metro officials have also called in collectors of antique items at Sitabuldi Inter-change station and Subhash Nagar stations respectively.
The Metro service in the city began on October 16 after NMC released new guidelines further allowing the functioning of further activities. The metro was between Sitabuldi Inter-change to Lokmanya Nagar Metro Station on Aqua Line started from Friday while Orange Line between Sitabuldi Inter-change to Khapri Metro Station being from Sunday.
The exhibition of old items is at Subhash Nagar Metro Station on Aqua Line.
Citizens can look forward to the collection of various and unique items such as old current papers, old postage stamps, and old records to be played on the record player. Both the exhibition starts at 10 am and Maha Metro is inviting the people of Nagpur to take advantage of this.
To make the ride on Metro more joyful, Maha Metro has given 50 percent discount in passenger fares so that a large number of citizens can avail these benefits of Metro service. A book exhibition has been organized at Metro’s Sitabuldi Inter-change station and started at 10 am on Sunday.
