Union Minister for Textiles and Women & Child Development Smriti Irani has been tested positive for COVID-19. Irani took to Twitter today and announced that she has tested positive for the virus and requested people who came in her contact to get themselves tested at the earliest.
“It is rare for me to search for words while making an announcement; hence here’s me keeping it simple I’ve tested positive for #COVID and would request those who came in contact with me to get themselves tested at the earliest,” she wrote.
Recently Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and former CM Devendra Fadnavis also tested positive for the virus and are currently undergoing treatment.
