As the constriction work of double-decker flyover on Wardha road has reached the last stage and asphalting work is underway after completing the launching of Manish Nagar RoB boosting steel girder work of Maha Metro. Managing director of Maha Metro, Dr.Brijesh Dixit inspected Manish Nagar RoB on Thursday.
He stressed the need to set up pace of work and ensure quality at the same time. Due to Coronavirus pandemic, the construction site is being disinfected by spraying appropriate chemicals, checking the temperature of the workers and observing the social distance besides wearing masks. As per information, a sum of Rs.301 crore for 3.14km bridge and Rs.91 crore for construction of RuB and RoB have been earmarked in Maha Metro budget. The structure of this three-tiered bridge will have a paved road at the bottom, a double decker at the top and a metro train running on it.
