Amravati: The Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court (HC) has issued notice to Sant Gadge baba Amravati University (SGAU) to carry out the Summer-2020 examination process of as dated October 24, 2020 according to the decision taken by Academic Council and Board of Examinations and Evaluation of the University.
The instructions have been issued by HC on the petition filed by Priti Rahul Tayade alais Priti Baban Mate. SGAU examinations started on October 26. Priti Tayade, a student had filed petition in the Court seeking revocation of the directive issued by University on October 24 regarding conducting the examination.
The Court has also asked SGAU to revert to the notice till November 24, after which a final decision will be taken.
About 70 percent of the examinations of the University, which started on October 26, 2020, have been completed.
The exams are being conducted till November 2 and University is trying to declare results at the earliest.
