After financial woes and illness, a lawyer committed suicide at his house in Swawlambi Nagar area of Rana Pratap Nagar police station. The deceased was identified as Shrikant Wamanrao Maraskar (45), a resident of FlatNo.FF3, Nand Apartment, Indraprastha Nagar, and Swawlambi Nagar. Shrikant was unmarried. He was living with brother and sister in Hanuman Nagar previously. He sold the ancestral house and purchased a flat in Swawlambi Nagar in year2017.
Srikanth was practicing in civil matters and was also on the panel of some banks. On Tuesday, the neighbours informed the Police Control Room as Shrikant was not opening the door. Rana Pratap Nagar police arrived the spot and broke open the door. And Srikant found dead. He ended his life hanging himself from the ceiling fan.The body was sent for post mortem. The police have recovered a suicide note from the spot in which Shrinkant mentioned that he was depressed over increasing debt and illness.A case of accidental death was registered by Rana Pratap Nagar police.
