Nagpur reports 159 new cases after witnessing more than 300 cases for three consecutive days thus reporting a decline in coronavirus cases on November 7. Meanwhile, the daily recovery count decreases while the recovery rate stands at 93.44% today.
On November 7, the second capital of the state registered 159 COVID-19 cases taking the cumulative number to 10,4668.
Today 8 people succmbed to the infection taking the total of fatality to 3464. From the total deaths 2448 deaths from the city and 580 from rural and rest 436 from out of Nagpur, an official release said.
After the fresh updates, the total active cases in the city now stands at 3398 including asymptomatic cases advised for home isolation.
Also 308 persons became free of the infection in the day taking the cumulative number of recovered cases to 97,806 (including 55,134 home isolation recoveries).
Today’s 159 positive cases were reported from various hospitals.
AIIMS (6), GMC (17), IGGMC (47), MAFSU (23), NEERI (10), RTMNU (14), Private Lab (27) and Antigen (15).
