Diwali is round the corner and the spirit of festival is back in market as people are busy shopping for the festive season amid Coronavirus this year.
Earlier the country was in lockdown and the business suffered for few months but now as the government has allowed new business to resume and everything is getting back on track under Mission Begin Again initiative, the festive season has given a boost to the market and with this normalcy has returned in the markets.
The earthen pots and diya sellers are happy with the response they have been receiving from past few days from the citizens and supporting the local business during this festive season.
One of the street vendor informed that there are many people who change their business according to the season and festival in the city. At first we all were in dilemma whether or not to set up our shop as the response in other festivals was very less due to the COVID-19 effect but it turned out that people are eager to buy new diyas and other decorative items from the local vendors instead of buying it online.
Another vendor said that we are really happy that even though the COVID is still having a firm grip in the city, yet the cases have been decreasing people are returning to the normal phase and are positive in celebrating the festival of light with the same enthusiasm. Surely our business has affected on a smaller scale but the enthusiasm we see in people is still the same. We are happy that small street vendors are getting good response and people are coming to us to buy decorative items for their home.
The market is all set with different handmade decorative items for your homes at each corner of the city.
