A move to fulfill the demands include implementation of old pension scheme of 1982, scrapping privatisation and contractual employment, revoking pre-term retirement policy, scrapping new labour laws, providing all allowances given to Central Government employees to State Government employees also, fill up vacancies in all cadres, clearing appointments on compassionate grounds without any condition, resolving pending issues of employees and teaching and non-teaching staff, provide Rs 7,500/- unemployment allowance per month and 10 kg food grains to each poor person per month, etc. the Government employees and teachers will participate in nation-wide token strike on November 26.
A delegation comprising Ashok Dagde, State President of Rajya Sarkari Karmachari Madhyavarti Sanghatana; Ashok Thool, General Secretary, Zilla Parishad Karmachari Mahasangh; Dnyaneshwar Mahalle, Nana Kadbe, Yashwant Kadu, Budhaji Surkar, Gopichand Kature, Keshav Shastri, Subhash Surpam, General Secretary of Rajya Sarkari Karmachari Gat-D (Chaturth Shreni) Karmachari Mahasangh, submitted a memorandum of demands and notice of strike to Ravindra Thakare, District Collector. The delegation also submitted the notice of participation in strike to Salve, Deputy Commissioner, Chief Minister’s Secretariat (Camp at Nagpur). Narayan Samarth, Mangala Jalekar, SunilVyawahare, Prahlad Shende, Shyam Wandile, Snehal Khawale, Manish Kirpal, Rajendra Thakre, Prashant Raut, Nitin Somkuwar and others extended co-operation to the delegation.
