Ahead of Diwali season, Nagpur district is witnessing decline not only in the death count but also the total number of active cases are gradually decreasing each day.
However, with people stepping out for Diwali shopping, may cause second wave of coronavirus if precaution are not taken.
On November 10, the city reported 238 fresh coronavirus positive cases taking the cumulative number to 10,5383.
In the day 4 people succmbed to the infection which is lowest so far. With the t the fatality count now stands at 3484. From the total deaths 2460 deaths from the city and 584 from rural and rest 440 from out of Nagpur, an official release said.
After the fresh updates, the total active cases in the city now stands at 3155 including asymptomatic cases advised for home isolation.
Also 282 persons became free of the infection in the day taking the cumulative number of recovered cases to 98744 (including 55629 home isolation recoveries). After today’s update the recovery rate stands at 93.70%.
Today’s 238 positive cases were reported from various hospitals.
