As we know the Nagpur Division Graduate Constituency election scheduled to be held on December 1.After 7 candidates withdrew their nominations, nineteen candidates remained in the fray. As many as 31 candidates filed their nomination in the first election being held during Covid pandemic period. Nominations of five of these candidates were rejected due to technical faults. On Tuesday, seven candidates withdrew from the field on the last day of withdrawal. The namesake of BJP candidate Joshi withdraws his nomination. Earlier, the nomination of namesake of congress candidate Abhijit Vanjari was rejected. Besides this, Lok Bharati candidate Kishore Varambhe also withdrew from the field.Gokuldas Pandey, Dharmesh Phusate, Ramrao Chavan, Shivaji Sonsare, and Sachchidanand Phulekar also left the field. Human Rights Party’s advocate Sunita Patil and Nitin Ronghe of Vidarbhaites organisations are also in the fray. Independent candidates contesting the election include Ajay Taiwade,Atulkumar Khobragade,Amit Meshram,Nitish Karale,Prakash Ramteke,Prashant Dekate,Md Shakir,Rajendra Bhutra,Vinod Raut,Virendar Kumar Jaiswal,Sharad Jivatode,Sangita Badhe and Sanjay Nasre.
