After getting information, the MIDC police on Thursday conducted a raid in an illegal gas filling factory and nabbed the owner. As per information, the cops have seized 659 cylinders and articles worth Rs.3.75 lakh from the spot. The accused has been identified as Krishnakant Vasishtha Kunwar; a resident of Kalmegh Nagar.
He was using industrial LPG cylinders of private companies to refill small cylinders. The point to be noted here is that refilling cylinders using such process is illegal. The cops have warned people involved in such illegal activities of strict action. It is worth mentioning that the City Police Commissioner after taking charge had stated that he will do whatever possible to break the financial support of the criminals.
