After Sunil Chinaria, president of Anandam Tower ‘C’Co-operative Housing Society at Godrej Anandam World City Township Ganeshpeth has lodged a complaint at National Consumer Complaints Redressal Forum, the Forum has issued a notice to Goldbricks Infrastructure and Godrej Property Company and asked to submit reply within 30 days. Goldbricks Infrastructure and Godrej Property Company had published attractive offers and released alluring advertisements offering world class amenities like grand water body, sunrise deck, trivia court, club house etc. After this, buyers purchased flat at the township from 2012-2016 and also paid the entire amount of the flats they wanted to purchase.
However, Goldbricks Infrastructure and Godrej Property Company did not complete the project within time and also not able to fulfill on its promise to provide the said offers. The company also procured Rs.1 lakh to Rs.3 lakh from flat owners for construction of club house. However, the club house was not constructed. Similarly, the company also charged one time maintenance fee from the buyers at the rate of Rs.200 per square foot and also promised to return the same at the rate of Rs.150 per square foot to the buyers. But this was also not completed.
