The Central Committee on Wednesday announced that the admission process for Std XI will continue on today. As per information, there will be no SEBC reservation in this phase. The students who belong to this class will now have to take admission in general category. However, it is not clear that what would happen to the students who have earlier taken admissions under SEBC category. In the government resolution it is mentioned that the students who have earlier applied for admission under SEBC, if they do not get admission, will have to get admission under open category.
Such students will be given additional time to fill forms. The position of vacant seats will be published on Thursday. The students who have not yet applied for admission can do it now. Those who had committed mistakes in the application forms earlier too can fill their forms afresh now. The forms will be reviewed and the colleges be allotted on December 5.The students whose names will be mentioned in the list will have to take admission in colleges till December 9.After this, the third phase of admission would start.
