Following rigorous testing at the airport, railways, roadways, three passengers travelling in the Amritsar-Bilaspur Express who arrived at Nagpur railway station tested to be positive on November 28.
According to the latest data available, up till now, 1717 passengers have arrived in the city out of which Antigen tests of 17 passengers were done, 14 of them tested negative.
All three passengers have been kept in-home quarantine until further notice. The contact tracing of these passengers has begun by the officials.
While 2 passengers who had arrived via Delhi flight to Nagpur were tested positive on November 27.
Around 57 passengers did not have their RTPCR negative test report and as a result, these passengers had to go through the procedures.
As per the directions of the Government of Maharashtra, in view of the increasing number of daily cases of COVID-19 people travelling from Delhi, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Goa, have to carry an RTPCR negative report with them before boarding the plane.
