Recently Dhangar Samaj Sangharsh Samiti had conducted a campaign meeting in support of Sandip Joshi, candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Republican Party of India (Athawale), Bahujan Republican Ekta Manch.
Samiti’s Founder President Padmashri Dr Vikas Mahatme appealed people to elect Joshi by giving him vote of first preference. Sandip Joshi assured audience that he would personally take up the issue of Dhangar community. Former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had sanctioned the funds for Ahalyabai Holkar town hall and as a Mayor Joshi had pushed the work ahead. He has promised to create mural of Ahalyadevi in one square. Harish Khuje, Secretary of Samiti gave introductory speech. Dhangar Sangharsh Samiti, Maharashtra and Punyashlok Ahalyadevi Holkar Smarak Samiti has handed over the letter of support to Joshi.
