The Tie Women- A Global initiative Nagpur hosted an online workshop on Key Result Area (KRA) Crafting on Saturday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The main aim of the program was to train on how to stabilise an organization and to run entrepreneurship by maintaining a proper external environment and business objectives.
The key speaker of the virtual program was Dr. Medha Dixit, DGM training National Cancer Research Institute, Nagpur.
“Key Result Areas†or KPAs, also called “Key Performance Areas†(KPAs) refer to general areas of outcomes or outputs for which a role, or a combination of roles, is responsible. These are the areas within the organization where an individual or group, is logically responsible/ accountable for the results.
During the program, Dr. Dixit explained the step-by-step process of the job-related objectives and the growth objectives of an organisation. Then she elaborated on the tools of KRA, as the theory has been penned down by Peter Drucker.
She further described about the Management by Objectives (MBO) Process Cycle which involves the 1) Set and align employee objectives 2) Monitor performance 3) Evaluate performance 4) Reward Employee 5) Set Corporate objectives.
She also presented skills and ideas of how to write a step by step job description, design, and analysis. She even explained about the KRA goal setting and the set of Key Performance Indicators or KPIs in an attempt to help the entrepreneurs to get a clear vision and picture of setting up their business.
