In a latest development, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that annual board examination for students of classes 10 and 12 will take place in written mode and not online as all students will not get equal facilities for online exams.
Issuing a statement, the board said, “The exams as and when they are being conducted, will be in the written mode and not in an online mode. The exams will be conducted following all COVID protocols.â€
The CBSE  Board has also cleared that students who are not able to appear for the practicals, alternatives will be explored.
The union education ministry will be holding consultation with the teachers, students and parents on December 10 regarding the exams. The education minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank had tweeted and asked the stakeholders to share their concerns.
