Ruby Shrivastava,an IRS officer of 1986 batch has taken over charge Principal Chief IncomeTax Commissioner of Nagpur.She assumed charge from the principal director general of National Academy of Direct Taxes(NADT) Nitin Gupta.Shrivastav is M.Sc in Botony.She is also a law graduate from New Delhi University.This year,she has also obtained LLM(professional) degree from National Law University,New Delhi.
Besides serving in I-T Department,she has also worked on deputation in various ministries of the Central government.She worked as assistant income tax commissioner in 1988 in Nagpur before her posting before her posting on deputation in Union Public Service Commission and Commerce Ministry.She also worked in various capacities in the investigation department at Pune and Mumbai.Before assuming her charge as Principal Chief Income Tax Commissioner,she also worked as a director on the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Board.
