South Central Zone Cultural Center (SCZCC), Nagpur has organized a two day online ‘Stree Mahotsav’ at 4.00 pm on 28 and 29 December 2020. The various programs under the Stree Mahotsav include folk singing and beautiful performances of smooth music performed by women artists.
On the first day of the ‘Stree Mahotsav’ pakhawaj maestro, Chitrangana Agale of Madhya Pradesh presented a beautiful symphony through her instruments. She is also the first female artist of Pakhawaj whose name has been recorded in Limca Book of Records as the only female pakhawaj player in the year 2000.
The second presentation of the program was ‘folk singing’ by Purnima Chaturvedi of Madhya Pradesh. She is an artist of All India Radio and has given presentations at many festivals, radio programs.
While on December 29 various performances like ‘Sugam Classical Singing’ will be presented by Shweta Joshi who is an artist of All India Radio. The program will conclude with ‘folk singing’ by an emerging artist of Chhattisgarh Yogita Sinha.
