The second capital of the state continues to maintain the daily COVID-19 count below 400. On December 31, the city reported 393 fresh COVID-19 cases with 8 people succumbing to the infection in the day. After todays count, the cumulative number of positive cases reached to 123767.
From the total 3930 deaths so far, 2638 deaths are from the city, 690 from rural and rest 602 from out of Nagpur, an official release said.
After the fresh updates, the total active cases in the city now stands at 3782 including asymptomatic cases advised for home isolation.
Also, 393 persons became free of the infection in the day taking the cumulative number of recovered cases to 116055 (including 64922 home isolation recoveries). After today’s update the recovery rate stands at 93.77%.
Today’s 393 positive cases were reported from various hospitals.
