Maharashtra Minister for Animal Husbandary, Dairy Development and Fisheries Sunil Kedar during a programme organized at Kalamna Market Yard stated that Mandi Cess in Maharashtra would be reduced soon. He also said that transfer of shops in Kalamna New Grains Market would made soon through legal registered deed is expected.
Similarly, power bills of commercial establishments would also be brought down. Not only this, the shops constructed on the premises of Kalamna Market Yard would be handed over to the traders. He also said that the entrance to the New Grain Market would also be started soon. On this occasion, president of The Wholesale Grain and Seeds Merchant Association, Santhosh Kumar Agrawal and Secretary Pratap Motwani submitted a memorandum of their demands to the Minister.
